There are no accounts, file uploads, mailing-list forms, or advertisements. Your analytics choice is saved in local storage when available. Files and inspection results are never saved there.

Usage analytics and your choice

On toolhazel.com, Google Analytics is optional and stays off until you allow it. It may use first-party cookies to measure visits and inspection starts, completions and standardized error categories.

We do not send file names, file contents, metadata, tensor names, tool search text or URL query strings to Google Analytics. You can reject analytics or withdraw permission here and keep using every tool. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not erase data already sent. If your preference cannot be saved, it applies to the current visit only.

Hosting and network requests

Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Visiting it sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and browser headers, to Cloudflare so it can serve and protect the site. This is separate from optional usage analytics.

Local file inspection

Selected files are processed in a browser worker. Leaving the tool page, refreshing or choosing another file releases the previous inspection. Files and results are not saved to browser storage.
