GGUF Inspector

Read model information without uploading your file.

A closer look at your model file.

Drop a GGUF file here, or choose one to get started.

One local file at a time.

Your file stays in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Inspects file information. Does not fully validate model weights.

How to inspect a GGUF file

  1. Choose or drop one local GGUF file.
  2. Read its declared model information and file summary.
  3. Search metadata keys and expand values to explore.

What can I see?

File size, GGUF version, declared tensor count, model name, architecture, quantization and metadata. Supports little-endian GGUF v2 and v3 within the inspector’s metadata limits.

Does this verify that my model will run?

No. This inspector reads file information; it does not run or fully validate the model. Tensor details and weight values are not read.

Can I inspect a split model?

Choose one shard at a time. Results describe the selected file only; other shards are not combined.

Why did my file reach a limit?

The inspector reads up to 16 MiB of header and metadata, with limits on fields, array size and nesting. A limit message does not mean your model file is damaged. You can choose another file and try again.
